Whether we're any good at this isn't for me to say.
“Janet's competence, integrity and deep knowledge make her a trusted partner in any project. Iloilo is in good hands with her new consultancy.”
Francis J. Kong, entrepreneur, author and speaker
It's business as usual, but…
We're JDD MCS, an outside eye for businesses, entrepreneurs and their personal finances.
You started this because you were good at something. Cooking, building, selling, caring for people, growing things. Somewhere along the way you also became the cashier, the HR department, the collections officer and the one who decides everything.
The business makes money on paper. You're never quite sure what's actually in the bank.
Personal and business money have been mixed for years. Everyone around you has an opinion, and most of them want something from you.
And it's hard to say any of this out loud, because you're the one who's supposed to have it figured out.
None of this means you're bad at business. It means you're too close to it. When every peso is personal, the numbers tell you what you want to hear, and the people nearest to you have a stake in what you decide.
It isn't a skill problem. It's a distance problem.
What helps is someone outside. Not a report, not a package, not a pitch. A second pair of eyes that isn't selling anything, and a steady hand while you put things in order.
Janet Dela CenaFounder, in a session in Iloilo
Someone who isn't selling you anything, sitting on your side of the table.
The numbers, the people, how the days actually go. We're not selling software or a package, so we can say what we see.
What's working, what's quietly costing you, and what to leave alone. Kindly, but without softening it into something useless.
Untangling business and personal money. A plan you can explain in one sentence. People so you're not needed in every room. We stay while it takes hold.
25 years
running and managing businesses in service, manpower, healthcare, real estate, retail, farm and food, here in Western Visayas.
And still, I couldn't see my own businesses clearly. Not without people beside me who would say so.
Shaina, Peter John, Kristina, James, Nelphe, Shaun and me. Sambag, Jaro.
Clients come for me and end up knowing everyone by name: who picks up the Viber early, who runs the trainings, who built this website. Nobody gets handed off.
Whether we're any good at this isn't for me to say.

From someone who has watched the work up close.
“Janet is a rare kind of entrepreneur, one who leads not just with skill and grit, but with genuine compassion. Her good heart is evident in the way she uplifts those around her: customers, employees, and her community alike.”
J. Randell R. Tiongson, personal finance coach and author
And from someone who has needed the help.
“Janet is someone you can trust and depend on. She will always be a good partner to those who need help in developing their business.”
